Pray for Ministries in Jalandhar

Bro. Johnson James Titus & Ministry

I am Johnson James Titus, born and brought up in a missionary family hail from kerala and doing Vineyard work in North India (Jalandhar , Punjab ). Frankly speaking I don’t want to do the Lord’s work because I saw the hardship of how my parents toiled in the Vineyard field, suffered hunger and persecution from anti-christians elements and our basic need of childhood in schooling was met in the limitations which made me to think about my future and plan to get job in services either in BSF , or Punjab police because of my sports as a soccer player in which I was best. Our Principal of school and college counted on me, but my dreams were not fulfilled due to bribery for Selections. I was broken and was praying what next. I told my mother that I don’t want to do the ministry and don’t compel me. She, then on a breakfast told me about their commitment towards the Lord. I was 25days old when I was supposed to go through a operation. My parents and grandparents, aunt all prayed to the Lord that if God give this son alive and heal him without operation we will give him to the service of God. When I heard the commitment what my parents had with the Lord our Savior. I prayed and seek His face to know His will in my life. On those days Operation mobilisation team was staying at our place, 12 members in team and I was taking them to all villages and doing Interpretation for open air preaching and outreach for them. I told my father that I want to join OM India. And for recruitment I went to Lucknow in 1992 and surrendered my Life to serve Him.
From that moment till Now what I can say is the Lord is faithful and Just. Five in years OM and 6yrs in Israel doing the Lords work. Past 31yrs in His Vineyard, Lord helped me to stand firm in His grace inspire of many challenges in society, and in christian community. The Lord was so gracious that He provided on time our daily needs. I am married to Lilly and we are blessed with two daughters. Keren is doing her Internship in BSc OT/AT technology at Chennai. Iyrene is doing her 12th Medical.

Assembly Bible Training Institute

We are doing a special ministry called ABTI ( Assembly Bible Training Institute ). Training young Timothys for the Vineyard work in the highway Villages. According to our survey there is no Assembly Testimony on Highway villages in the District of Jalandhar. Two places we have an opening to have an Assembly Testimony. Harvest is ripe but the labourers are few. Our Vision is to train, equip and sent them to the field. Please remember ABTI, Looking for committed students to serve God in 2024. Last month, doing the Vineyard work of our Lord added 5 families of 16 people to our local Assembly. In which on 24th Dec 2023 there were 4 Baptism from this family. Pray that there are two more brother who need to be saved. And on appointed Lords time they will accept our Lord as their personal Savior. Pray for the Village dhada for a new opening of Gospel and a possibility to open a fellowship.
