He had been diagnosed with throat cancer and underwent treatment for it in 2007. Since the last few months, he has been facing difficulties with speech because of a small swelling on his neck. Doctors have diagnosed this as terminal stage of cancer and he is undergoing treatment for it in RCC, Trivandrum. An immediate surgery has been advised by the doctors in RCC.
God willing, Binoy Thomas will be admitted at RCC on Thursday, 24th November and the surgery is scheduled to be done on Monday, 28th November, 2022.
